According to a representative at Roc-A-Fella Records, Jay-Z has confirmed his participation in a tour with 50 Cent this summer.
All the details and dates are still being finalized, however the label says the tour will be called Roc the Mic, and as 50 told MTV a couple of weeks ago, Jigga will be closing out the shows each night (see "50 Cent Says He and Jay-Z Will Unite On Stage").
According to Roc-A-Fella, there will be different versions of the opening lineup in various cities, with Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliott, Sean Paul and Fabolous all tapped to join the bill on select dates.
50 will be bringing G-Unit member Lloyd Banks onstage with him, and Beanie Sigel, Memphis Bleek and Freeway are slated to back up Jay on his performances. It is still unclear whether the trio's appearance on the Roc the Mic Tour will conflict with them going out on the Roc Army Tour, which is tentatively scheduled to ramp up at the end of May (see "Dame Dash Plans Roc Army Tour Without Jay-Z").
