The
Notorious B.I.G. and
50 Cent have "hooked up" for a new song, "N--ga," which has turned up on some underground mix tapes. The song uses two verses from the slain Notorious B.I.G., and was the result of some studio wizardry similar to that which created
Erick Sermon's 2001 hit, "Hot" featuring
Marvin Gaye.
While LAUNCH was unable to confirm whether or not the new song would be included on 50 Cent's forthcoming Shady Records/Aftermath Entertainment debut album, we did learn that 50 Cent will head into the studio to work with Sean "P. Diddy" Combs in the coming weeks.
50 Cent is close to completing his new collection, having recorded 12 songs with Dr. Dre and four songs with Eminem. In addition, 50 Cent has already completed 16 songs with other producers, including his manager Sha Money XL.
